On Wednesday October 13 and Thursday October 14, Kindergarten Students participated in Pink Day. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and students were encouraged to wear Pink to support the cause. In KG1 classes students arts and crafts centered around decorating the pink Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon. Whereas in KG2, students participated in decorating ribbons, pink butterflies and pink flamingos. KG1 also took this opportunity to learn about color pink through spotting pink food items or packages such as cotton candy and biscuits.
