Welcome to A’Takamul’s Kindergarten!

 

It is a great honor to join A’Takamul as Vice Principal of the Kindergarten Department and I look forward to cultivating greater relationships with the students, teachers, and parents through out the year. I am excited to meet the all of the little learners this year as they come to school for their very first time or return for a second year of school. At A’Takamul we know what a privilege it is to care for and cultivate the minds of the KG students. We strive to create a happy, safe, and stimulating learning environment for each and every child.

 

Our students master more than just their ABC’s and 123’s. A’Takamul’s Kindergarten program empowers children to explore the world around them through hands-on and small group learning. We use Project Based Learning to help students engage and make connections in science, math, and social studies. Our students get individual teacher attention as they learn to read and write. Teachers use on-going student evaluations to measure student growth and tailor each child’s education to their individual needs.

 

We know that parents are the biggest advocates for their students and we look forward to partnering with parents to help each child excel. I look forward to another great year and eagerly anticipate meeting each of you as we journey through this year together.
